A well worn One Peso from 1986 (1967-1988) Obverse Portrait of Jose Martí at center in oval with name below Reverse Image of Fidel Castro and Camilo Cienfuegos with Revolutionary Army entering Havanna on January 8th., 1959 Fully Guaranteed with the gold, foreign exchange convertible into gold and all the other assets of the National Bank of Cuba. Seemed like a bargain at about 10% over face. Condition is EF-VF. I really like the Commonwealth of Australia banknotes & am trying to complete a set of the short second "b" versions released for the initial decimal series. They were about 1/2 - 2/3 the price of what was on ebay. The thing is- the Australia type are everywhere whereas the "Commonwealth" type are tough (especially in nicer grades).
