Hi @NumisEd
Notgeld can vary in size from around the 10mm x 10mm size to very large notes indeed. Most of the hyper-inflationary notes, on average are what one might call ' normal sized'. It really is a right mix. The pieces issued in 1914, 1920 & 1921 tend to be small sized (,around 40 x 70mm).
I'll try and add a scan later, with a 1 dollar bill.....if I can find one here

A very recent pick up. I usually don't buy modern notes but the recent 1000 yen from Japan really caught my eye.

The back is what caught my eye, it has the The Great Wave off Kanagawa, which is a is a woodblock print by Japanese artist Hokusai, created in late 1831. The print depicts three boats moving through a storm-tossed sea, with a large, cresting wave forming a spiral in the centre and Mount Fuji visible in the background.

Nice new Japanese ¥1000 @hfjacinto!

Here's 2 $100 notes from Jamaica. One is the old style which I often saw while working there in 1995-1996. At that time, I often got nice crisp $100 but I was too hard pressed for cash so I used mine for taxis or groceries. Here's a 2001 example (the 4th version) but which is not much different from the 1986 (1st version) of the series:
P-80

And here is P-95, the last "hybrid version" printed in 2021. Note how the last 3 digits of the swirlly serial number has a leaf:

Thanks IGE & hokiefan_82!

Re: the $100 note for Jamaica, I would really like to pick up one of the earlier versions but they're a bit dear in UNC.

P-74 (1986-87) or P-75 (1991-93) had the bars for the blind to the left of Sangster's face & the serial numbers in different positions (with no security thread). P-76 (1994-2000) was the first time they inserted a segmented foil security thread (& circulated while I was there). I'd like to get one of these notes just for comparison.
P-74 & P-75 Numista links:

The 2 notes I posted (P-80d & P-95NL) are very cheap, less than $4.00. The 2021 hybrid version (made by Giesecke & Devrient, Germany) has a cool feel to the hybrid paper- much like the 2009 hybrid series from Bermuda. The security features on this note have to be observed in person. Sometimes its fun to see how the technology for currency has evolved & this is one of those denominations that demonstrate it perfectly over 35 years

Here's a follow-up to my last two Jamaican HUNDREDS posted.

I decided to pick up the P-74b $100 with the marks for the blind, circles and signatures in different positions. Unfortunately, it is the 1987 "b" date & not the more difficult first 1986 version (but I'm happy to get it as 37 year old versions are getting tough to source these days):

I also picked up P-90 the 2012 "Golden Jubilee" Commemorative $100 with the group of students featured on the reverse & the motto, "Out of Many, One People."
