I have been on/off vammimg, I use to be just Morgans, but lately pulled out the Peace dollars and have not stopped.
I have a 1922-P Peace dollar with the reverse, on the eagle's right shoulder(looking at the reverse) a large, thick clash going almost up to the beak.
The obverse has the strange looking die breaks, that are seemingly in the early state, in the tiara, between the I and B, actually the number9, 10 and 11th rays are broken about half way up the ray and have what looks like die breaks, and they are filled in with blobs of metal, like Cuds.
The 10th ray being the smaller one has a Cud like top to it, also the 10th and 11th ray are attached from the top of the smaller ray to the middle of the 11th ray, by extra metal.
My pictures are not showing what my eye can see, I will try to post the best of them, any help would be very appreciated.

I know this and most other posts, without pictures are a poor start, I also know from being on this site for a few years, we have some very knowledgeable, vammers and would hope some could assist in this attribution

Bryan,

I appreciate your help, I have seen the pictures you have posted from Vamworld, the closest spike is from the 2bd, only it is much closer to the eagles neck and reaches up to his beak, just about.

I thought this being from the reverse, would be help in attributing the coin, but the broken rays in the tiara, I thought were the more defining flaw.I have most of the spiked reverses you show, but, like you are unable to find this one!

I really do love this hobby, I was up last night trying to take better pictures of this obverse, but even in macro, with a Power Shot 120IS, I can not capture the broken rays as my eye sees them, any suggestions on taking a better picture? I will continue to try today, I know this is like turkey shooting with a blind fold on, Mike.....
