Finally found the elusive Liberty nickel in circulation. No, it wasn't in a roll (wish it would have been) but I got it from the register.

This kinda proved to me, in a round about sort of way, that if you give, it shall be given unto you. See, there are two registers back where I work in electronics at Walmart. I had already checked both of them multiple times throughout the day, and only found a 1947, which I wasn't sure I wanted or not. Well, I owed someone change and I decided to give them the 1947 nickel I had been looking at. Before I closed the drawer I ran my finger over the nickels again, just out of habit, and out popped a V nickel!

Think what you will, but I think that it's pretty cool that I somehow overlooked it until I gave away the '47.

That is pretty sweet, a v-nickel in change. The person that spent it was prob thinking they were passing it off like it were foreign. I've had "strange" coins find there way to me that way.

Nice find!

I was at a store last year, and they offered me a 1921 S morgan. No one else would take it. I now have it, and it is a very high grade.

Nice find, and I sure would have traded a 1947 for it, no problem!

I still have the AG 1904 Liberty nickel I got in change years ago.

At the time, I thought "I can see why they spent it" (because of its
worn condition). After a month in vinegar last year, I can finally see
the E Pluribus Unum letters!

That's the oldest Nickel I ever got in change, but I did find an
1867 No-Rays Shield Nickel in a CoinStar reject ray!
