I am thinking of purchasing an American Eagle coin from gainsvillecoins.com. I am considering either an NGC MS 69 or a 70. Does the rating matter for a 2010 Eagle?

most of them should grade pretty high because of the way they are minted. in my opinion it wouldn't be worth the premium for a 70 over a 69 unless you are building a top registry set but that is just my opinion. you should be able to get a 69 for about what a raw one would cost also, if their price is much more than a raw one you may want to check elsewhere

I purchased my very first American SIlver Eagle at a coin show and sale last Saturday. the 2010. It won't be my last.... they're very nice.

The 2010 Silver Eagles are a very nice looking coin. I should have purchased a rated one. I went to my local coin shop for a pack.

I paid $20.25 for my 2010 ASE at a coin show and sale. Thought that was a pretty good price. |

I got my coin today. It is a gold AGE MG 69 Early Release. https://www.gainesvillecoins.com is a great site. It looks perfect to me (the untrained eye). I paid $20 per ASE on Saturday. Should I try to have them rated? |

I havent bought any recently, but I have bought several from gainseville coins. I purchased ms69's, I would not pay the premium for the 70. I have been pretty satisfied with gainseville coins.

2010 ASE picked-up today ... dealer held me one for a week as promised ... his last one ... and out the door for $19 bucks! |
