All Canadian coins had flipped observes (like American coins) up until 1907 (near the end of Edward VII's reign). From 1908 to the present the observe and reverse were aligned.

Not true. Cents were medal axis.

What am I missing guys? 1945V said that all Canadian coins had coinage alignment like U.S. coins up until 1907. I pointed out that cents up through 1907 (and beyond) had medal alignment, which is true.

Bosox,
You are correct about 1 cent coins and their medal axis. I was thinking silver when I answered Frostcross's questions. Castor's weblink summarizes the reverse/observe relationship for all Canadian coins nicely.
