Quote:
schmidty: "what happens with multiple guesses
of the same amount?"
If more than one user makes the exact same price guess that's within
the winning price range, I'll "cross that bridge when I come to it."
For example, I could declare a 'tie' and add an extra Native Dollar
to the prize pool so that both parties get a Native Dollar.
Edit: That's exactly what I've done!Mar 1st NY Close was $16.46
Please note that I said "closest to the price",
not "closest to the price, without going over".
Ex: a $16.00 guess is '46¢ difference' and a $17.00 guess
is a '54¢ difference'. The $16.00 guess is thus 8¢ closer.
First Prize:
01.
Podoprigora = $16.50 = 4¢ difference

Second Prizes:
02.
Jser = $16.37 = 9¢ difference (tie)
02.
deadmunny = $16.37 = 9¢ difference (tie)
03.
tls867 = $16.33 = 13¢ difference
04.
SilentAsian4Hire = $16.61 = 15¢ difference
05.
mad258 = $16.62 = 16¢ difference
06.
ratman4762 = $16.74 = 28¢ difference
07.
Nic = $16.16 = 30¢ difference
08.
Rigoletto = $16.13 = 33¢ difference
09.
chris12018 = $16.86 = 40¢ difference
10.
SHAFTA9a = $16.04 = 42¢ difference
11.
tumbleweedtrumpet = $16.02 = 44¢ difference
Since there is a tie for second place, an extra 2010-D Native
American Dollar will be given away, for a total of 12 Dollar
coins awarded to the winners!

The "nail-biter" for me: If silver had closed at $16.43 on the 1st
(which was
very possible!),
jser and
deadmunny would have
been tied for first place, and I would have given away two VF 1892
Morgans. Yes, that's right, folks, I
did in fact buy another VF 1892
Philly Morgan (which I can now keep!) to cover myself! (it
was close!)
Thanks to all who entered! DNA
