Contest Hi All Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I've been preoccupied with another project I got myself into. Putting together additional music to my enormous collection as well as creating label inserts for the CD cases to correspond with the CD disc. I have come across a dilemma [I am NOT good at drawing]. I have an image I want to use for a back cover insert but it is in a blue shade and I need it to be in gold shade. I don't have a good image editor nor do I know how to change the color to gold without changing the quality of the picture. The image HERE doesn't necessarily have to be exactly as this one but it must be " steel looking" in a gold[en] color and 800x600 in .jpg format. If you'd like to participate send me your design or post a link to it. The chosen design that suits me for my project will win the prize. Which is still in the "what can I give away" stage. Additional Info:
The CD is my personal selection of songs which will be titled " Collection of Larry Levan's Remix". which will be in black on the gold background.
If you are not aware of who Larry is, he was the DJ of the Paradise Garage Club in NYC during the 70's-80's.
The CD will contain various artists who had their disco hits remixed by Larry Levan.
From all the images I found or already have, the image I posted is the one he (hubby) liked the best (because it has the "look" of a steel door). You can be as creative as you like.

WOW Bryan,
Now that is what I'm talking about !, nice "golden color". Sort of like a "gold coin" look.
I do like this one, but hubby will be deciding on the winning entry. How about this same coloring on my pic if you can. To see what it will look like. He may want to keep that one if it has that "gold coin look" as in your pic above.
So keep them coming.

Yes, I did say you can be creative.
The image must have that "gold" look as in Bryan's pic.
Keep in mind a "steel door or wall" in gold. Your "gold" look can also be used.

this is about as good as I can do with with the picture you provided, its to grainy to be able to work with without losing detail  |
