Hello everyone! As I approach my 1000th post, I feel the need for a contest. I have few ideas but I thought I would allow my fellow CCFs to help with the process. I might even call this the pre-contest contest. The winner of the best idea for a contest will win an 1880S Morgan. So help me out! Let's have your contest suggestions! (And if you come up with a contest that you would do well at, you might just win the next contest too! Bonus!)

How about a contest to guess when the first 2010 Nickel or Dime will be found in circulation by a member? Many haven't run across a single 2009 yet, so that pool of dates could be quite large and allow for alot of participation.

This is stupid but how about getting a dateless Buffalo nickel, making people guess the date, and then restoring them with vinegar? And see who guessed right. |

Total dollars or total hours spent (purchases, repairs, etc) on one of the cars from your collection.

I've been thinking of throwing up a contest.I mentioned this to my 13 y/o son and this was his reply.
"Guess what it is comp."
Then he said I should scan the back of an oreo cookie half,and see if anyone could pick it.

We've had "guess the price", "pay it forward", "figure out the code", "what am I thinking", "why did I do that", etc... contests. People can Google any question and get an answer in seconds.
Sooo, how about a "tell us your scariest moment" contest! Or, "tell us your most unusual life experience" contest! Or, "my marriage was the worst ever because....." contest! Or, "my job is worse than yours because.... contest! Wow, this could be interesting.
