I inherited this from my grandfather. Don't know much about Morgans. First question, can you tell if it has been cleaned? It is slightly tarnished/toned around the features, but pretty clean in the fields.

Second, what do you think this would grade? My g'pa had it listed as AU.

I'd grade this coin at AU-55, I don't see any signs of a cleaning. Nice coin.

I'd agree with AU-55. The toning looks original, although (unfortunately) it does not appear particularly attractive. The overall yellow color is probably due to lighting and/or camera effects. I presume the coin looks more "silvery" in hand.

Thank you for your input. Yes, it does look nicer in person. I'm still trying to figure out the photography side of things. I have trouble getting detail to show up, especially on the Lincolns that I usually photograph. I was pleased with the details of these pix, but not the color.
