I'm going to say VF-25, not enough detail on the hair for VF-30.

As always, if I can't remember what to look for in each coin type, I go to the US Coin Facts on our CCF Navigation bar (on your left...):

Liberty Head "V" Nickel General Grading Standards

G4 Good - No details in head. LIBERTY obliterated.
VG8 Very Good - At least 3 letters in LIBERTY readable.
F12 Fine - All letters in LIBERTY show.
VF20 Very Fine - LIBERTY bold, including letter I.
EF40 Extremely Fine - LIBERTY sharp. Corn grains at bottom of wreath show on reverse.
AU50 About Uncirculated - Traces of light wear on only the high points of the design. Half of mint luster is present.
MS60 Uncirculated - No trace of wear but can have many contact marks. Surface may be spotted, or luster faded.
MS63 Uncirculated - No trace of wear. Light blemishes.

From the above, I get to VF20 easily. Then looking for the corn grains on the reverse I get stopped. I can't see them (at least from Wheezy's picture) so I can't go to EF-40.

I like the middle of VF-30 for this one. I think with another picture that shows the details in the obverse hair, VF-30 is justified.

Nice one, Mr. Wheezy!

VF 30 details; environmental damage. Surfaces appear consistent with nickle coins buried in the ground for several years or decades.

I have several of these in my collection and enjoy them quite a lot. But they are not to everybody's taste.

VF30. Not quite EF40 due to reverse lacking detail with corn grains.

I go with VF20. The corn grains on the reverse and the weakness of the "I" in LIBERTY hold it back. Nice eye appeal
