My dad and I share a paypal account. Today after I got home from a lacrosse tournament my dad checks his email and comes to me and asks if I bought an IpOD Nano. I said no. Now I'm scared because sometimes I bid on stuff without thinking. THis email looks very legitimate. Then there is a button that says dispute this charge so he goes to it and start filling it out. I remember something I read on CC and told him not to becuase they could take the information you put into it.I got the number for paypal and called and they said it was a fake email and if he did put the info into the form it would have messed up alot of stuff. Then I scanned my computer and I had a trojan on it.

Dont ever gie your information if you dont know if it is secure!!!!!

Take it from a firsthand account. ALWAYS CALL BEFORE YOU GIVE THEM INFO!

I ran a thread last week on this very same topic. This is nothing more than a scam. When I contacted Pay Pal they advised me to forward the original email to spoof@paypal.com
