Are those die chips in the loops of the S or some mm variety?

Looks to be a 1MM-008 variety with extra filling in the top loop. 3.50 for AU50.

Thanks Halfwitty. I don't see any die scratches. Maybe it's too worn, although it still has ome luster.

There are a few similar on the site but I still can't really ID it if it's even there. Let's see if someone else can help.

The marks above the lower loop are just from a bent punch problem. Check other examples of the RPMs listed on the site for S mints on 1954/1955. They all have the same mark in that location. Probably most of the normal dies will have it also if they changed out the punch. This has happened on several years. Comparing many examples from the same year/mint mark will probably tell you that is what it is for any year/mint mark. As far a 008, the location is of the mint mark is to far north to be from that die. I didn't see one that matched your coin. I have seen that mint mark with the mark on the upper loop before. (I may still have one...somewhere.) But It hasn't been listed yet. I'd hang onto it for now to see if it is listed from another source.
