They are all MINT, unfolded, still in the pay-packets that they came in. I am not a collector, but they are in unusually perfect shape. Mostly $20.00's, some Tens fives and ones. Any advice/thoughts?

Well, my grand-mother in law died ~3 years ago. We inherited some really nice bedroom cabinets. We moved recently, so I removed all of the drawers to make it a bit lighter...deep in the back of one drawer, I found 3-4 manila pay packets, with the money in them, straight from the bank. What is interesting is that the grandma was rich, she didn't really have to work, so I don't know why she was squirelling away money, but there you have it. I imagine $450 was a heck of a private little fund in 1963!

Welcome!

Looks like 1963 $20's in that condition are going for $30-40 on ebay.

Thanks, good to know. Do you guys have any tips for an amateur to photograph these in order to highlight the condition? My personal photo results aren't what some others are...

Trial and error.A good camera with a micro setting works for me or with bills you can use a scanner.

Yep - trial and error - use a background that will show the contrast (not light green!).

Congrats on the find!
