Don't the wheat lines have to be full for F grade? These don't look full to me.

I was thinking the same and VG-10, but this isn't the first time I've seen non-full lines seemingly disregarded. A weak strike shouldn't be the excuse, since it's only the second year of production.

Also, I'm surprised to see the "damaged" label. I wouldn't go so far. It looks within the boundaries of reasonable wear to me, but then again I am just learning here.

The grading book I use states that most lines in the wheat stalks are either weak or blended with the others, but more than half of the seperating lines are clear.

Below is the link to PCGS photograde for the Lincoln Cent. You clearly can have blended wheat lines and still get a grade of Fine.

The scratches are a minor issue and in hand are barely visible and dont detract from the eye appeal of the coin like they might in the digital photo
