Here's a colorful Ike for your viewing pleasure. The price kinda stings, though.

That's definitely a nice coin. I be willing to offer about half that asking price, but that's moon money for a toned Ike.

I would pay at most $200 for it. I can appreciate a "color" premium, but that asking price is outrageous.

That Ike is pretty - but IMO they may as well be asking for 100K.

Watch, some rich person will prove me wrong. I wonder what is the highest price ever paid for an Ike?

I bought a 1978 mint set for a nice Roosevelt dime, and got these as a bonus! The 1978 D has that nice golden toning, both have very nice reverses.

Hi all

I'm back in the game (a little) on IKEs

Saw an ESTATE person liquidation someone's Mint coins. ( ebay)

First he offered combined shipping

... so I could bid on all of his auctions and pay only one $12.65 price

The auctions were weird ... like, four 1973 mint sets with $7.95 shipping

I just missed the 8 LOT of 1976 Mints ... I was ready to bid higher .. at the last 4-5 seconds .. but timed it too late.

But I won four auctions

Long and short of the day was I got 32 IKEs ... and a total of $61.12 FACE VALUE coins for only $55.98

...some may have had 2 cents in the lot ... didn't figure that in the $61.12

Plenty have auctioned for over $5000, I think the highest priced non error Ike was a little over $10,000.
