Hey guys do you think I should send off my 1973 p d and s Ike's for grading as they are most likely to grade very high as ther GOP sealed I have free grades I have few coins at moment rebuilding what was lost to a flood. So my collection is wear as am I. Limited income and I'll. Figured I can make a few bucks from high grade Ike's and SMS Kennedy s as I have many sets and many free grades then I'll get some nice carsons to get graded but. I'd there a decent market for I,es. In high grade?

Personally, I wouldn't use free grades for Ikes unless the raw coins could be evaluated here first to determine if they're good candidates. This means you will need to take a few high quality photos and share them here. It will still be a risk, though. I consider high grade Ikes to be MS66 and above. For proofs, it's PR68-70. Since they are free grades, you'll still win if they come back as 65, sort of. For example, there is a 1973-D in MS65 on ebay right now for BIN $27.95 or Best Offer. That's the cheapest one available as a BIN. In a real auction it could go lower or higher. It just depends on the coin and the *quality* of the photos. I think the best thing to do is post pictures. Then we can go from there.

I'm sorting through grandpas pocket change that he kept in his basement... I wanna go through his horde of change to look for cool errors and such... to make sure the 'good finds' don't go back to the bank etc...
And since this is an Ike thread... there's 661 Ike's in that picture!
So far, they're just sorted by dates...

WOW quite a hoard there Fireball. Here are the 1st 4 from the 12 that came in today. The Denver coins look way better than the Phiily coins. I took these out of mint cellophane. Tell me how they get fingerprints while sealed in cello?

I'm getting ever so close to the finish line. Once completed I'll update and share the finished "digital" album (see link below): http://goccf.com/t/269469&SearchTerms=eisenhower
