Now I've gone and done it. Got these 3 today and I have 13 more coming in mail.


Do these look UNC. to you? The photos are taken using one diffused light. They all have luster to them and the 1972-P is toned.

Ok so looks like I gotta get more ikes I like both of them...
Because I spent all my money on ike I went cheap with the displays
I used a board from a pallet and I Did not have the correct size drill bit so I used a drimel and on the first one I used a shovel handle with sand paper wrapped around it lol the edges and countersink I did with my router table and paint markers oh and nothing measured all by eye

Yes, Mont. I really like the 1972-P. The '71 and '72 Ikes are usually seen with smooth, soft surfaces. Finding strong strikes is tough, and even then they don't match those of the '77-'78 Denver issues. As jbuck has said, there was quite a learning curve during those first two years of production. Did you get these on ebay?
