Yes, this one appears to be a "regular" or Type 2 reverse. So far, all Type 1 reverse proofs known originated from brown boxes (wood grain, mint-issued boxes) with a gold embossed presidential seal and Richard Nixon's signature. For comparison, here is what the Type 1 reverse earth looks like. It's the same reverse found on the 1971-S business strike "blue" Ikes, and thus, this coin is a mule of sorts.

This Ike exhibits an exquisite deep gold color. It's still in OGP, jbuck.

My first Ike! Figured as someone who likes shiny dollar coins might as well pick one up while at a coin show this past weekend. Don't know anything about them but figured for $20 the worst I can do is lose $19 on this one. I did see one with an eagle on the reverse, which I think actually looks nicer, but it was in MS (and a little more expensive which was a bit perplexing) so I decided to go with the cheaper, shinier one. Although it's graded as pf69 it does have some kind of smudge right in front of Ikes face so I'm assuming it developed sometime after grading. Is this common with these? I noticed other pf 69's on ebay with similar marks. Anyone know if there are capsules that fit Ikes perfectly? I'm thinking of either cracking it out of the slab or picking up another one to carry around as a pocket piece.

There's a couple on my ebay watch list already so probably not. Are there any pure silver Ike's or is 40% the highest they were made in?

I bought this 71-D FEV on Christmas Eve, and I just received it on January 6th. I bought it because I thought there was a good chance it was a proof planchet FEV based on the seller's photos. I don't believe it is a PP now that I have it in hand, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was a DDO once I got it under the lens. The doubling on IGWT is very prominent. Whatcha guys think?

EDIT: I just looked this up in the big Ike book, and it is the WDDO-001 variety with a paired DDR (notching on the ends of the feet of the two Ls in DOLLAR). I missed this upon first inspection, Also, there is a die gouge between the T and R of TRUST that is a die marker for this variety. This coin has so much going for it.
