It is not uncommon to find wheats on a regular basis but typically they are 40s-50s beat up commons.

This little guy jumped right out at me.

Beautiful toned reverse and nice detail....just waiting for me at the convenience store this afternoon. Got him as change.

Common, but just a beauty in its condition. Very nice tone and color and just so even for being in change. Couldn't have been wandering around long given the condition.

That's nice. I'm thinking VF-35, almost EF-40.

It looks like EF40 details, corroded.

I'll go a 40, also, and net it down to a 35 for the early-stage corrosion, only because it still has very nice obverse detail.

I was thinking VF-35. What a find from circulation! That had to put a smile on your face.

RFB, was this a metal detector find? Looks like some I have found. I would net it 35 corroded.
Great find, Jim

Great find! I don't think it's corroded, a little xylene would probably do wonders for this coin. The left reverse is weakly struck. The wheat kernels are just barely rubbed and the obverse is the same.

EF/AU, it's a close call!
