This is a hard one. It looks like it has a frosty appearance, but some of the details seem soft like a weak strike. I'm going to say AU-58, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's not an MS coin.
Rest in Peace

I personally think the coin may have been whizzed or dipped based on the pictures but I don't know for sure. UNC details, better if I'm wrong about the problems

Yes, because it *is* a v.

I'm thinking a pretty strong strike for this coin (due to the strength of the lettering), with just the slightest bit of wear. AU58, but like echizento I'd be willing to change my mind with the coin in-hand.

I will also call this high AU. I'm a bit concerned with the color and from the accurate rendition of your thumb () I believe the color-balance to be OK. On the reverse there is a significant area that appears flat and lusterless (see red circle). If the luster is removed here (can only verify in hand) then it's an AU coin.

Sure looks like the eagle's head and neck have lost some detail from wear. Also, the color looks off as noted, which could be from lighting or could indicate some kind of processing (in PCGS lingo, "altered surface"). My gut feeling is that this would not slab as mint state and it might receive a "problem" designation if submitted for grading.
