Just found this 1999P LMC with a nice size reverse Cud.

*(Not a WAM, unfortunately)!

Also, the letters "TRUST' are missing on the Obverse in the exact spot where the Cud is on the Reverse.

The layers of metal above the Cud, is that still considered part of the Cud or something else?

that is a HUGE Cud! the missing letters, I think, are part of the Cud.

I'd say the extra metal on top of the Cud would be part of the Cud, seems like it's an irregular break in the die, like it was fractured when the chip was lost, almost like a lamination error on the die.
