I have and accout at 2 CU and neither one will take rolled coins. They just point me to the coin counter. I really think I am getting shorted at the coin counters. But those darn CWR yield the best results...

Well, after reading through some of this thread and seeing the results my brother was having I decided to pick up 60 rolls of dimes and give dime roll hunting a shot.

First 60 rolls

Silver: (3)

1946-D
1962-D
1964-D

Canadian Dimes: (5)

1969 (Not sure if it's large or small date)
1978
1986
1988
1993

Well needless to say, after seeing those results I quick went to the bank on Saturday morning cashed those 60 rolls in and pulled out another $300 and went to a few more of the banks I found the silver in the day before.

Next 60 rolls

Silver: (5)

1957-D
1959-D
1962-D
1964-D
1964-D

Canadian: (5)

1977
1979
1993
2008
2011

So, up to this point I had been doing strictly nickels, and ummmmm yeah. That will no longer be the case! I been hooked on the dimes, my next 60 rolls are waiting in the car

BernieZ;

I've tried to get my brother on this coin forum, but he's one of those people where if he didn't find the site or it wasn't his idea he's not participating. So I just need to lean on him some more to get him to join and share his finds. He's doing pretty good in dimes and I know he just picked up about 3 more boxes. So we'll see what he comes up with.

Went to get a box today. The teller thought she knew everything about coins. She asked what I wanted the box for so I told her I collect coins. She asked if I was looking for silver and I said yes. Then she told me that where they get the coins from, there will be no silver. She continued on by saying that if I want any silver I need to search CWR, and she started explaining what that was. lol. I told her I still wanted a box. She doesn't know How often I find silver in boxes. lol.

Box #72:
1957 d
1964 d

1990 5 pence (x2)

Looks like she was wrong.

LOL Murrellington. She probably had that box earmarked for herself and brought in the CWR too.
