Welcome aboard CoinRollHunter.
Did a box of dimes today.... 1 X 1968 dime...thats it for silver. Searched the entire box one dime at a time this time around to find hole fillers and to upgrade some of the dimes in my album. Did well on that front...upgraded 12 dimes and 6 hole fillers. Cheers!

I bought a box of dimes. Only found one interesting coin but it seems to be a good one. Its a 1917c 10 cents New Founland. Looked it up and it appears to be .925 silver (a first for me) and worth $5 or $10 on ebay. OO

ok, so since becoming a father back in October, I've been busy with 2 jobs and a baby. dont have much time like I did before to run back and forth from the bank. AND the funds have diminished as well so I dont have much to work with....
i work at a country club in maintenance. but I know the pro shop guys and guys up in accounting PRETTY WELL. they already know I love coins, and I ask them daily " find and silver?" and once in a while they will let me look through their tills... So yesterday,. as the assistant accountant was getting his $$ from the vault, I saw some plastic wrapped dimes.. I said, look! ill show you what silver looks like.. so, not knowing there wold be one, I took the roll and said LOOK! a bright white rim shown through like sunshine! we pulled it out, 1956-d. I gave him a dime and said keep your eyes peeled!
so, later as I was showing the guys in the proshop this dime, asking of course how mjuch its worth, "around $2 I said. so they were like, alright ill look too! he opens his till and viola! a shinny 1964! I thought NO WAY! 2 in one day! but this guy was smart he wouldnt let me have it, (he saw how much I was squirming when I saw it and he wouldnt let me have it) so anyway, I worked a deal with him... since I work OUTSIDE, I find a LOT of golf balls.. nice ones too..
so for all the nice golf balls I give him, he gives me any silver he pulls from the till when he closes!!
i cant wait! its the 4th dime I have found at work in 2 years, but thats not looking everyday.. now, I will have eyes looking out for me! will let you know what happens!

Got ten rolls today to occupy me in the waiting area at the bank while my other half was in consultation on beginning an IRA.
Got my very first silver roll find - a 1941-S merc.
Very happy.
