My last box gave me a 1951 Roosevelt. Well worn, but i'll take it!

When you guys search for silver dimes in the plastic rolls, do you generally just edge search or actually go through the whole box?

It is a good thing that you decided to search the entire roll.

Yes! How common are dime proofs? I frequently find half dollar proofs but I haven't searched that many dimes yet.

I guess luck is just smiling upon me this week then. I got a silver dime in change just a couple days ago. Halves seem to be very dry around me so I may start doing more dimes. Last 4 penny boxes have been <1% copper also. I guess that's what you get in a large city.

More exciting that a roll find since you were probably not expecting it. Very nice!

I think I've found 5 proofs in, what, like a year of searching? I'm guessing like $10,000-12,000

Rachums that's quite a few proof dimes you've found. I've found two clad and one silver proof in about 5 years, edge-searching alone. Wonder if I've missed more?

ffd-I know youve missed some. I search whole rolls, remember? So its harder to miss them. But yeah if you just edge search than you will be very lucky to spot one.

Dimes are tough on my eyes to search. I prefer to find them in the coin machine reject trays!

I stick to Q's and halves. Easier to see. Found only one Proof Q so far, but man did it pop out on the rims!!
