Went back to my buy bank to see if they could give me anymore dime boxes. I was in luck they spared 4 more boxes.

The first box came blank, 2nd box 1 merc, 2 rosies, 1967 canadian and 1968 silver canadian. I was pleased for 5 silver.

3rd box was blank
4th box I hit 41 silver dimes all rosies.

I looked over the boxes and noticed that the boxes that had silver were stamped with a code, the other boxes were not stamped.

Any idea of why some boxes are stamped and other are not?

Of course my head teller will be getting a gift card for valentines day - this week alone I pulled 83 silver dimes.

2nd box of dimes:

1x 1964
1x 2009 P
1x 2009 D

That totals 3 2009 dimes in 2 boxes, my first silver dime found in a roll/box, and a pair of tired eyes.

1st silver congratulations, I hope you see alot more in the future. Some I find edge searching but every now and then I find one sifting through them (usually a old Mercury dime).

Happy Hunting and good luck

1 in 18,510,000... I actually found a 1955-S! from the same bank I got the 1917 from! Is that one a key date? I know it's the last year for the San Francisco mint until 1968.

The best part... it's a Hole filler! sorry no pics I'm hating all the pics I'm taking, need to work on it tons!

Edit: forgot to mention I also found a 1963 today, the 1955 was yesterday

got 6 in a box tonight including a nice AU 1954 s, beautiful and brilliant coin. ALso a 1952 s, I was so happy to get these relatively speaking rare s mints. THey were hole fillers in my hunting book I've started. also 1954 and 1962d were hole fillers. 1962 and 1964 not hole fillers but very welcome. My mini jacktpot.

SIX in one box... WOW!

My personal best was 4 in one box.

Another weird find I had a few days ago was a 10 ore Denmark coin, no reeding but same size as a dime.
