To the previous poster far back, I'd recommend using magnets pulled from headphone sets/earphones. They are considerably powerful and are great tools in telling whether a coin is silver or not. Just place the coin at an angle, and slide the magnet down, if it slips down immediately without any signs of friction, then the coin is something other than silver. If the magnet slides down slowly with signs of friction/attraction, then it's the real deal. Hope this helps.

good box this week, 4 silvers including 46x2, 48, and 62d. 46 and 48 were hole fillers in the hunted collection.

While I did not find this in a roll, I got a 1945 Merc out of a register where my mom was going furniture shopping.

I got a 1980-S Frosty looking proof coin and a 1963-d mixed in a roll today. Never got a mercury either so far $280 in dime rolls I get a silver 1 in every 3 to 5 rolls. I get luckier with nickels. I get some Barbados birds and Italian and other assorted foreign every 10 rolls or so but never a single Canadian which I do collect which I would think to be more common a find.
