Sauce, can we see that 1921 D? It's a semi key date!

Coin197, I'll take a couple of photos of the 1921 D within the next couple of days!

It's kind of hard to see in the picture, partially because my camera couldn't focus in too close to the coin, and also because it's a little worn around the edge of the 1.

But here she is!

Edited to add: I just realized that the camera may have had a hard time focusing because the camera was trying to focus on the carpet in the background. I'll try to take another picture with a less detailed background.

Nice! When taking pictures, I recommend placing the coin on a 2+ inch golf tee.

I'd auction it on ebay, you'd do better than melt.

pc2, it's always nice to also see the reverse to get an idea of coin grade, so be certain to include a photo(s) of the reverse of this batch of coins. Last Friday I bought a handful with similar dates/condition for $1 each. I bought them from a family friend, so I got the "friend" discount. You'll do better selling your coins either here or ebay. Best of luck!
Rest in Peace

Pocket change:
I'd give you melt for it in a second, don't be stupid with these. Somebody will pay the going rate or better at auction/outright. Melt=@$61.00, Junk=@$71.00 minimum. Have seen rolls of mercs on auction sites other that eww-boy going for around $2.00 per coin! See about consigning these at a local auction, the auction company gets at most 20% (most around here 15%) you get the rest, that's above either melt or junk. *** Edited by Staff - Please review the rules that you agreed to when you registered. ***

I stopped and picked up $100 in dimes today (I usually do a box but it's been a long time) and was pleasantly surprised to find 2 1958's and 1 1950... not bad at all for such a small amount
