Quote: Tuesday while out dumping some halves I picked up two boxes of dimes. while out I checked a local coinstar and found my first CS silver a 1964D. The first box was another skunk but the second box held two silvers a 1964P and a 1948D. Nice finds! Quote: First time hunting a box of dimes gave me these three today. Never hunted for dimes before today and picked up $100. What should I be looking for? I know with nickels, I keep everything prior to 1960. Same here? Thanks in advance. -Steve

Shotgung: 1964 and earlier silver and there are transitional errors on 1968 and 69 with proof reverse. Also there are other errors in the 70s, 80s, etc.: Some DDOs, DDRs, Broadstrick, etc. the good old time of learning "Research". Hope this helps after all you learning one trick at a time. Quote: 1968 and 69 with proof reverse Thanks for the information FrankenCoin. I found 4 of these out of $100 I searched yesterday. The reverse of 1968-S. Not too shabby.
