Went through $200 from a different bank and found nothing but deposited it all but $50 at my normal bank and found 1 1964 Roosevelt! I average 1 silver dime every time I get rolls from my normal bank!

5 more boxes got me 4 silver roosies-1956d, 1957, 1957d, and 1960d. String & Son boxes seem to have better results for me with dimes compared to Brinks. I think I may need to open another account or two for pick up banks. At least I have dump banks that never miscount dimes so that is good. One branch with an older counter shorted me a couple dollars and even counted some as cents.

Picked up 20 CWR's today and got 1-1964D. That makes 2 silver dimes from 30 CWR's. I'd say that is pretty good success! I hope it continues.

Hey all, 1st time posting after reading up the past few weeks. I've known about pre '64 silver quarters and pre '82 copper lincolns for awhile now and collect the copper. I have only found one silver quarter in circulation, I find more rare dollar bills! But I was with a friend who worked at mcdonalds and showed me a '63 dime. I had noo clue about silver dimes. googling them led me to this website. Last Friday I bought $180 of wrapped dimes($95 CWR and $85 HFStrings) I found a 1964 dime with no mint in what I'm guessing is some AU condition based on its luster and similarity to other graded silver coins I have, it was with a roll of a bunch of non magnetic 1968 canadian dimes.

I haven't read through the history of this topic, but had a quick question. What is typically considered collectible and being collected(other than silver) for this denomination?
