I searched a box at lunch. 3 silver - 53'P, 61'P and 64'P. Tomorrow, I may try and get a couple more.

Finally broke the skunk streak. Found a silver 44 rosie.
Overall, it has been petty bad for a few weeks.

I go through a little more than 2.5 boxes of dimes, nickels, and halves during the week. I don't actually buy boxes though, I can only check during my lunch break, and on my commute home. I just go to a bunch of banks and get a few rolls from each.

My Average of 7.5 boxes every week, yields about two weekly silver coins. Lately though I am lucky to find one silver coin a week.

As I'm not searching amost nothing lately , I was checking my dime collection and after I check my rousie folder I ask my self : is it possible to have so many holes left with a full tube plus dozens of extra coins on 2x2 flips ?! So I started to look at one by one my silver dimes then I found out that I had a 1962 hole filler and didnt notice before what made me happy as child eating popcorn .After finish the tube I keept checking the 2x2 when I saw a coin that I couldnt believe ... So behold , the one and only ... The king , key date of the series a 1955 P dime !

Years ago, when I was helping a retired dentist put together his fourth complete US type set, we found several coins in the wrong place.

I sat in my car and opened a roll of dimes I got when the teller had no halves. I saw a silver staring right at me

1957
1962
1964

the roll itself is interesting. All the coins appear to be different dates. Cash in Daddy's dime set for face value Johnny needs a new PS3?
