Searching $120 of CWR yesterday, I found a 1960D and a 1964D. Lucky! I also picked up $35 of machine rolled which turned out to be all 2010D. Yucky!

One of my co-workers found a 1920 dime(unsure of which mint) in the cash drawer when she was counting down drawers a few days back and couldn't believe it. Didn't even have to roll search and one came up. A year ago at the same job, I found a 1920 dime myself just in the register. After her find I am really considering searching a box of dimes myself. I just worry I will have to deal with some Canadian dimes.

Nice finds everybody! I've been going through a box and found one canadian (not silver) and 4 silver dimes 42, 42s, 47, 56. And I'm only 1/2 through. . My first string and sons for dimes. Think I'll be getting more!

My last two brinks boxes got me two Mercs (1942, 1942s), two hole fillers (1951d, and 1958), and 3 other Roosies! I've had skunk streaks from Brinks but that's not bad. I have now found 100 silver US dimes total. Five of those are Mercs and I also found eight additional Canadians but those are only 0.80. My other milestone is completing half of the silver Roosie set from circulation. If only I could find the remaining 24 in the next 100 silver dimes I find haha. Has anyone completed the silver Roosie set from circulation recently or is that not realistic?

I think is possible to complete from roll seach because I all ready found the king of rousies 1955 ! I'm trying to do the same and have a full tube of spares besides my album , I'm missing 18 coins to finish and I'm having a lot of fun with dimes .only 4 coins have mintage under 20 million and the key date 1955 with mintage of 13 million so is possible . The only problem is the mm's , like I live in jersey where is tough to find the S coins !

I live in Minnesota and I don't have any trouble finding old S mint nickels but dimes are tough. Out of my 100 silver dimes found, only three have an S (1942s, 1950s, and 1951s). I'll keep looking and see how many more I can find for my set. At least the good thing is that a duplicate silver Roosie is just more for the pile.
