As to the concern that CWR are more desirable than rolls wrapped by the coin processing companies, don't be.

I have been searching dimes for over 3 years now. For quite a while I was searching between $2k - $3k a week. That's 8-12 boxes, not rolls. Family members were getting ready to do an intervention. I have slowed down to 3-4 boxes a week.

My results have shown that averaged out, over the long run, there is no difference. I have gotten mother loads both from CWR and BWR. Remember, they all started out as CWR's.

If they didn't get recycled and given out to a customer, the excess gets shipped out. They get cracked open by the bank employees and put into a bag and shipped out. Or the rolls were poured into a coin counter, then shipped out to a coin processor.

Like everything else in life, it is cyclical, and sampling of a short time period of a handful of rolls can easily give a skewed result.

Also, every region, population density, demographics and income bracket can produce different results. This is not an exact science. You do have a better chance of getting short rolls with CWR's...

Bottom line. Buy and search what you can, and don't worry about it and have fun.

The chances of finding solid and partial silver rolls are much greater with customer-wrapped. That's why a year ago I switched. In three years I never found more than a couple silvers in a single machine roll. I've found several cwr rolls with 25+ silvers.

What about the 2009's ? Whats the mintage numbers ?

Finished up $750 worth. Found 7 silvers, 6 Roosevelts and a '68 Canadian (it's .500 fine, so I only get ½ credit... ).
