My day off was busy with doctors appt, mowing grass, landscaping, but I still managed to get out and buy $300 in dimes today from one place. 7 keepers, and one roll had a merc, rosie, and silver canadian. That makes canadian #11 for the year, I like them more than mercs for some odd reason. ffd

I can't wait for my first Merc. Some day I know it.
Also, what years are the Canadian coins silver? And what percentage? Do you know the dates for all the canadian coins? Thanks :)

I picked up $950 in String and Sons rolls from various banks last night. I found 5 Roosies including a 1958p hole filler and another Mercury (1942). There are reports of finding Mercury dimes from bank rolls all the time on here and I never thought I'd find one but this makes four already. It's even more amazing to see someone post a Barber! I should post a more detailed report of my finds sometime, but here are my averages after about 3100 rolls: 94 silver coins: 1 in 33 rolls 82 Roosies: 1 in 38 rolls 8 Canadians: 1 in 388 rolls 4 Mercury dimes: 1 in 775 rolls

I got $180 worth of customer wrapped rolls, the same ones I got the 1982 No p from I have 5 rolls left and so far I've found 1987-S Proof-My first proof!! (cant remember date) large Cud on the neck. Thats my second Cud on the neck, are these common? That same bank had $715 in customer wrapped rolls and I plan to get them all by the end of the month! ALso found a 2004 canadian that almost looks proof-did they make these?

danmc00, if the bank doesn't have a counter, they must be accepting rolled coin from customers. Ask them to hold the excess rolls. I have one small bank that sells me $1k-$1.5k in dimes per month. The same bank diff branch never has any dime rolls, as the ones they do get in, they use. Just ask, I have several banks that I can usually pick up $500 a week in cwr, if need be. ffd

3 Brinks boxes and all were skunks. Unusual, but you win some and lose some. Congrats to all finding Mercs. I have a tough time finding them.
