TD Bank is open on Sundays until 5pm, but I think you live on the opposite side of the nation from me so they aren't around there.

Nice grab murrelington. You know, I have only ever once got an actual box of dimes and it was a skunk. Other than that it has always been rolls.

I've only done boxes so far. I've done 10 boxes and have 19 silver. So boxes are doing alright for me now.

So today was my 1 year anniversary with my wife. We ended up not being able to do what we planned because of her 90 year old grandpa (which I am fine with). We took him to the doctor for check up. took him to get blood samples. took him to get prescriptions. took him home to take his pills. took him to the cemetery to visit his wife. took him home. then went out and got all of his groceries for the week for him. He's 90 like I said and just got his license taken away this month.

anyways, after all of this when we were on our way home, my wife just wanted to roll search with me. it was so funny. yesterday we did a box and found 3 silver and she loved it. So I got her a box of dimes to do by herself and she found 7 silver roosevelts! my most in a box is 3!!
she found:
1964 (x2)
1964 d (x5)

common dates but silver is silver. It was fun and awesome that she enjoyed it and found so much. we did get another box, however the second was a skunk.

Another box got me a 1957d. So for 4 boxes this week. Box 1=3 silver, box 2=7 silver, box 3= skunk, box 4= 1 silver.

So 4 boxes ($1000) got me 11 silver roosevelts this week. Going to hopefully do more tomorrow.

thats awesome murrelington...

when you and your wife can enjoy it, that is special. I am sure she appreciated the fact that you helped out a lot with her 90yr old dad.

Thanks SD, yeah she's happy I went with her to help her grandpa. We have to help him tomorrow morning as well. And guess what, my wife wants to go early so we can dump our coins and get more boxes. She loves searching dimes. So I let her check dimes for me as I search nickels. It's fun.

SD: is your average still about 1 silver for every $100?

I get a fair number of dimes losing the last digit. I guess it's a common place for dies to collect grease or something.
