most film is made by coating plastic with a non-metalic form of silver. film is one of the #1 uses for silver, but its prices are still very low considering that the silver in film is easy to recover in it metalic form. considering the fact that 25lbs of expired film is going for about $10 on ebay, and that at LEAST 1/10 of its wieght is silver, there could be a huge oppertunity for someone. I am to lazy to get some film from ebay and recover the silver, but it might be very interesting to someone more ambitios than myself.

Whats the proccess to recover silver from film? Is it complicated?

you send it to any company that recovers silver from, say, %40 halves, and the take abot %10 of what you have as commision.
