Mintage figures are not available by variety
It's up to collectors to seek them out and determine their relative scarcity

I believe that I have a 1872H Obverse 1
There is so much conjecture related to this variety that I am more confused than anything else.
There must be specific definitive attributes that identify a 1 over the other varieties. Does anyone know and can anyone advise me on this.

is there any specifics that would separate an Obverse 1 from the other types. I have heard about the lip, the ribbon and the jewel. What are the definitive attributes that determines an Obverse 1

What are the definitive attributes that determines an Obverse 1. what I can see from the pictures sent by DBM is that the obverse 1 when aligned to the "A" in Gratia and a straight line is drawn across the coin that the intersection into the jewel band in the crown is deeper.

This is a photo of the coin. By all measures this seems to be an Obverse 1 coin. As I am a novice, someone may be able to tell whether or not this Obverse 1
