Bid as high as you think, Their auction results seem to always be a tad on the high side. A lot of unique hard to find pieces. I get their listings in my email but usually out of my price range.

I dunno. The seller has been discussed here before - we know who/what they offer - but this coin has a huge strike. Proof? Unlikely. CAC-worthy MS63 except for Altered Surfaces? More likely.

If I had the money I'd still throw $400 at it. What a monster strike.

Also I found an interesting auction on Teletrade for an MS67 1873 Closed 3 Silver Three Cent Piece.

from what I have read from people that has bought from them it seems they take REALLY nice pictures and sell ok coins. Their pictures are up there with some of the best ones I have seen on ebay but the question is are they nice representations of the coin in hand? it seems the census is still out on that one but starting to lean towards the pictures look better than the coin category
