VF30 would be my grade. The gouge behind Abe's head would likely keep this out of a problem-free slab but it does have good color.
Value around $140.

Yea that gouge isn't really a gouge, just looks that way in the photo. You can barely even see it in hand.

Nice deal. Looks like F15 to me. You may want to check the S out further. Something going on with the left side, it may be the horizontal S variety. nlp

Really tough graders here at CCF! The reverse is a bit weakly struck but I'm shocked people don't see this as a VF coin.

I think it's solid for F-15. For VF-20, I'd like to see full cheek/jaw separation and full wheat lines. This coin just barely has cheek/jaw separation and the wheat lines are not quite full. Very close to VF, but not quite IMO.

I really like the obverse, but the reverse is holding this coin back. I agree with the majority, F-12.
