I received 2 of the affected coins. After looping and micro'ing....here are my conclusions
The A missing from AMARI is caused by a damaged die rather than a "strike thru" my reason for this is that there is a gouge on both of my coins directly below the ribbon end. Grease or some other cause of a plugged die/strike thru would leave a grainy texture on the field, which is not the case here.

If anyone has read the original post,there was actually 4 halves in this roll missing the "A".Even though I'm not really big on errors,I did keep 2 of the 4 BECAUSE,1 was not only missing the A but also the first part of the M in " A MARI ". (coinsrfun got the other 2)
