Check this coin out,I am pretty sure its from thailand, but what has happened to it?The writing on the outer edge has been smudged towards the rim.
I rekon it might have been stuck to the bottom of a round chair leg to stop it wobbling, but still had a slight wobble, and has worked the coin to its current state.
Any theories? Is it mint or post mint damage?

Yes, it's from Thailand.

I was thinking worn die, too, but you typically only see that to this extent only on ancient coins.

Couple of questions might confirm or refute this: what does the other side look like, and what's the diameter?

The guy looks like the Guy at the Thai Baht coins, so it's surtenly from Thailand.

Well, the other side doesn't show any distortions which you might expect if it was a "vise job" or something similar (like your chair leg theory), so I'd assume the obverse was actually originally made like that, from an extremely worn die.
