One of the reasons that I, and other sellers, post large pics is because it becomes tough to do a good alteration at higher sizes. Above 500 pixels or so for a coin, even a very good Photoshopper leaves evidence of their work.

I've bought from hsturn and can verify what SuperDave said. The coins I received were worth well over what I paid, so I didn't complain, but they certainly didn't look like the pictures in the listings. Actually, I still watch his listings, on occasion I've been able to get a good buy, but I always deduct at least 3 points from what the pic seems to show and bid accordingly.

I'll go along with that. It's not that I wouldn't buy from him, but I take the actual representations with a grain of salt. Not the seller I'd recommend to a rookie.
