I'm new to this and I don't know what else to look for, but I seem to find at least one of theese " Cud" a day. What kind of value could this coin have?

I doubt you are finding actual Cuds on a daily basis, they are not that common. You may be confusing common die chips with a Cud. A die chip can occur anywhere on the coin and is considered part of the normal die wearing process. A Cud is a die break that affects the face and shank of a die. Because it affects the shank, it will always emanate from the edge of the coin towards the center. True Cuds are errors and worth a minimum of $5 for small ones on cents but usually in the $10-20 range and even higher depending on size and denomination. There is a Cud known on the Colorado Quarter(I have owned a few) but it is on the right side so this is a new one to me.

I don't know what to call what I'm finding that's why I'm posting them on this site. I just started getting into this do to an injury that keeps me of my feet. I like checking through currency more than coins, find it's a little more easy on the eyes and less dirty. I had just called this a Cud b.c I thought it looked like the nickel I found the day before that I had posted and was told is a Cud. I apologize if I'm misposting anything, still learning, very intrigued...
