I don't know but I would have to be opening that bad boy up to turn those coins around in the P set. That would bug the heck out of me. I will not keep a rattler slab for this very reason, I hate having to hit the slab on the side repeatedly to get the coin straight in the slab

Depends on what condition the coins are in, the photos are too blurry to see much of anything. Circulated coins would be worth $1.87 but nice MS coins would be worth considerably more. However, one thing tips me off that this is a low quality set- all of the zinc cents are corroded around the edges

LOL - I thought I was the only one with pet peeves!

P.S. Just clicked on your 7070 link for the first time, that's a beautiful set you've got going there!

It looks as if those were assembled by a company or individual.Sure don't look like mint packaging from your pics.

I thought there was no mint packaging that year, Halfwitty.

I've been in the market for that set. Prices on ebay for uncirculated run $20-$40 shipped. Yours maybe less because of the damaged coins.

i picked it up at auction for $10 at auction. the coins dont seem to be in that good of shape. I would sell it to you for $11 if you want it. I mainly wanted it so I could fill my whitman folder of the diff 1982 pennies. but I compaired the ones in the mint set to ones I've had and I filled my whitman folder so if you want them for $11 just let me know. I can scan the coins if you would like and you can get a better view of the coins. the pennies do look to have vergis on them, a couple have nice tone to them. the case is not sealed and dont look to be from the US mint so you can easily take the coins out and replace them if you wish.
