patrick Pillar of the Community United States 560 Posts	Posted 03/10/2010 10:57 pm I dropped by a local coin shop today while running errands and found this in the owner's "international" folder. I'm pretty psyched about this coin. It looks way better in hand than my bad scan suggests. I'm pretty new to grading Canadian coins so if anyone has an opinion, I'd be happy to hear it. Thanks! The '23's I see offered for sale seem to be very prone to surface nicks, rim nicks, odd color splotches, green gunk and various other problems, making a problem free one tough to come by even in circulated grades. What sorts of detail should I be looking for? I'm pretty new to this series and I'm not sure what parts of the design are most important in grading and what wears first. Report this Post to the Staff
