Hello all.

Need help identifying this VAM. The coin itself appears to be unc, or a slider. There is a lot of luster trying to shine through. I cannot find anything special with the reverse. Nearly all the stars show very minor doubling. YOu can see the rest of the doubling that I have found. The date appears to be normal.

Oh man your in my world now! I love the 1878-p vams and thats been my focus for the past few months. If that thing had a long nock I would swear it was a VAM-84 because it shows everything else except the long nock that the VAM-84 has, it has the broken D at the bottom of the D in DOLLAR it has the polished nostril where its almost polished completely away, I cant tell from the picture but it looks like it may even have a line under the first 8 in the date. but without the long nock it just cant be a VAM-84 no matter how much I want to say thats what it is, so I will have to go to the book again on this one
