It appears it's time to wrap-up the Colorado Statehood Quarter experience.

The ceremonies in Denver were most interesting, from the F-16 fly-overs to a stagecoach delivering the quarters to the Governor on the State Capitol steps.

Then, offering the "first day of issue" quarters to members of Coin Community, and giving them to family and other friends has been enjoyable.

I have given out 70. I have received payment and thanks from most all Coin Community members I mailed quarters to. In some cases, the payment was more than generous. In all cases, e-mails and notes I received back expressed thanks, and so far the opinions of the quarters have been very positive.

So, thank you CC members. I was happy to help.

Although I assume the Colorado Quarter mail outs are over, I do have some extras should anybody else be interested.

So, it was fun.

North Dakota is next! Any members plan on being there for its launch?

North Dakota's quarter, is the one with a telephone post in the middle of a flat plane. It represents the state tree. There will be a piece of barbed wire hanging from the pole, which shows all that exists between North Dakota and the North Pole. All and all, a very simple coin design. It represents the state very well.

No don't think I'll venture up that way this time of year. We will have to send Crystalk to get some more Buffalo images for his collection.
