I've been looking at this one for a few months, and my birthday is in a month so I'm thinking about buying myself a gift. What is the black mark on lady liberty's face?

Wow! Amazing coin! Happy Birthday. I think you need to buy this for yourself! I'm thinking the mark is corrosion. Email the seller. I'm sure they'll let you know.

Probably just some dirt or grime. Liberty's head is one of the focal points on a coin so make sure that grime doesn't bother you too much before you throw $1,300 down on it.

Overall its a very nice coin

Is this a local company? has euro's or pounds noted for payment, If it is not local, I would be doubley sure of the genuiness of the holder for $1,300.00 .........Trade dollars are cool!!

It's a reputable dealer, and I see no reason to doubt the coin's authenticity. The price is a little high, in my estimate, but the seller makes an important point regarding the large jump to MS63.

I'll have to wait on the picture until next week, but I'm asking about pricing in the meantime. I've bought from them before so no worries there, they are based in MN

I'm going to go ahead and grab this one. I've become somewhat obsessed with this coin after looking at it every few days for the past 6 months or so. Besides it's been about 2.5 years since I made a big purchase for my 7070, and it's my birthday present to ME! :)

Thanks for the replies
