They're all WWII or close-date issues.
The 10 and 20 Mark from Germany are reichmarks - issued after the massive inflation papiermark of up to 1923 (I think) and circulated with the rentenmark (or security mark) that replaced the papiermark. This is the mark that serves as the basis of the Deutsche Mark until the switch to the Euro.
The other 20M is also reichsmark, issued during Nazi Germany. The 10 and 20 before circulated along with this note.
The 20 schilling is Austrian, but its printing quality suggests to me it was a propaganda note issued by the Allies and dropped all over Austria as safe-passage notes or just plain propaganda notes.
The 5 Fr is Moroccan, issued under French control.
ahhhh... the 1 Schilling is issued by the Allied forces... This is like the allied military currencies that were issued after the liberation of France and the invasion of Italy, Germany and Japan... I've never actually seen this note before!
The 10Fr and 5Fr are just French notes from the war.
The 5 Pesos Japanese Military Currency with the Japanese government was one part of their war machine. This note as well as other notes issued by the Japanese government for other conquered territories such as Burma etc... basically destroyed their former economies and monetary systems. These notes were largely printed without serial numbers, and farmers were forced to sell their goods to the Japanese for these worthless currencies. In the Php, people who refused to take these notes (or issued, used resistance guerilla notes) were executed. The two holes mean (I think I read it somewhere) that they were also dropped by allies to help the Phillipine people... I think...
The 1 peso Victory note is a 1944/1945 overprint of original 1922 notes (I think 1922) that commemorated liberation.
And the 50cz note is from Brazil, used up to 1967, when the cz novo replaced it at a rate of 1 cz novo = 1000 cz. The overprint shows this, and most likely proves this note was used during the changeover.
phew... oh wait
you asked for how to store? I would just put them in an envelope. These aren't so valuable that I'd put them in a holder (probably except the German notes...). oh well... hope you enjoy the brief story of those notes, too!
