S/bob, if you have MS Office you can open the images with MS Office Picture Manager (right click on a file, choose "open with...")Then if you choose "edit picture" option you could either resize or compress your images.
I'd make copies in a new folder first to keep the originals intact.

I think I have figured it out finally so here are expirematal picture of two of the coins. The first is a Mughal Rupee with both sides reduced to 1/10th original size.

The second shows both sides at 20% but I have to post them one side at a time.

Any thoughts on actual value?
Are the notes correct?

no I have seen similar pieces but not that particular one. sadly after the mughal period the in between period had a lot of crude coins that are very hard to get a hold of

I dont collect India coins but I do have one posted on ebay All I know is this particular piece is very rare . or so I have been told by some friends ?

Unless I am missing something the Half Rupee from 1840 looks like the common version with a "book value" of $10 tops - so even with silver allowances the price of over $20 was very good.
